For Senior Market Day, we offered Senior POP!, a spinoff of our popular Kids' POP! – Power Of Produce. Senior shoppers were able to taste something fresh from our farmers, try to separate the fruits from the veggies – it's harder than you think – and learn how to build a Mason Jar Salad. The salad was demonstrated by Julia Stevens, a registered dietitian, fitness professional, founder of Active Nutrition and a POP! volunteer.
