7/1/2017 - The All American Farmers Market

Are you around town for the weekend? Stay-cationing? Stop by the farmers market for your grilling needs or for the special table gift if visiting with friends and family.   Grab a market fresh grillin' dog from the American Legion Grille team.  Shake hands with Abe Lincoln while the kids try their hand at Go Fish and Oakland County fun mobile free attraction.

7/8/2017 - Farmers Market week # 8

Oakland County Parks visits the market with a special presentation of "The Myths of Nature" that will be fun for the whole family.   The show starts at 10:30 am.  Free of Charge 

7/15/2017 - Farmers market week #9

The Greater Farmington Area Chamber of Commerce is our special guest and will be on hand to tell you everything you need to know about the annual Farmington Area Founders Festival taking place July 20th - July 23rd.   Pick up a program guide to all of this year's exciting events for some "Hot fun in the Summertime"  ....Founders Parade, annual Elks Ox Roast,  Movies in the park, fireworks, premier bands, the beer tent, kids inflatables along with all new activities for the whole family in Shiawassee Park and downtown Farmington.... Old Time Bingo, Ice Cream Socials, local crafters and much much more...

7/22/2017 - Founders Festival Farmers Market at the Huron River Club

The farmers market is proud to participate in the Farmington ares Founder's Festival. For the 4th consecutive year the market will relocate to the prestigious Huron River Hunting & Fishing Club located at 22575 Farmington Road at Freedom Road. The setting is beautiful....come see...

The abundance of Michigan fields, orchards and farms descend on our community market. August is peak season for farmers markets. This week also marks the return of our annual Little Princess Ballet hosted by Mid-American Fitness of Farmington Hills. This memorable show starts at 10:30 am. Too cute...

8/12/2017 - Bella Mercato Italian American Day

Join us at the market for Italian American day as we celebrate the feast of San Rocco sponsored by an all Italian trio of Antonio's Cucina, Rotondo Construction and Luscri Trucking.  There will be a special procession and blessing of the market at 9:00am followed by festivities all market day in celebration of Italian heritage, culture and cuisine featuring live music, colorful costumes, children's activities. Fresh made pasta, home made sausage, delicious breads, wood fired pizza, pastries and more will surely make for a "taste of Italy!"  Enjoy it all with a glass a vino from the Bella Mercato Cantina!

8/19/2017 - 11th Annual Farmers Market Elks Community Corn Roast

Each year our farmers donate fresh picked Michigan sweet corn to the Farmington Elks for annual charity corn roast.  We call it the "buc-an-ear" corn roast...for $1 you get a fresh coal roasted ear of corn buttered and seasoned your way!  Arrggggh!  This is good time and a great tradition,
10am -2pm.

8/26/2017 - Farmers Market week #15

"It's the most wonderful time of the year..." applies here!  So much bounty from the fields- root vegetables, tomatoes, corn, cole crops coming, a full assortment of greens along with a new rotation of sweet corn...which just gets better as the season goes on!  Did we forget to say blackberries, peaches & apples ?  Shop for artisanal foods from sauces to ciders, while you munch a fresh made hot in your hand, Petey's Donut

9/2/2017 - Labor Day Weekend Farmers Market

In town for the weekend as the kids gear up for a new year at school?  Wake up your day at the market.   Sinjon Smith plays the market stage starting at 10 am and that will put a wide smile on your holiday weekend.  We have a lot of vendors signed on for this market so be sure to pick up some grilling finds, table foods and pantry fare as yo prepare to kick back and s-t-r-e-t-c-h the weekend out....

9/9/2017 - Fall Feelings at the market

Get your favorite sweater out and head to market while U-M and the Spartans prepare for non conference battle. Cider Mills are open.  The dog days are now but a whimper and a memory. You have spring in your step and a song in your heart....what better way to share your spirit than the farmers market? We are community...

9/16/2017 - Market of the Harvest Moon

This is the weekend of Farmington's annual tradition of the fall - Harvest Moon. Saturday market is a family treat with a bounce house and the ventriloquist team of Boytoe and Lazareth highlighting the day. Kids Crafts and fresh market cider to go with your bag of Petey's donuts made right at the market will complete your day. Live entertainment fills the scene and rounds out a fun fall day all the way around.

Fall begins and isn't it your favorite time of year? Things are changing...even the light of day as it filter through the trees seems different. Time to start thinking of cole crops- brussel sprouts, cabbage and hearty stock. Fall squashes will be on the march to market along with everybody;'s favorite, pumpkins...

10/7/2017 - Polish Festival Witamy(welcome)

Witamy, welcome our second Polish American Day at the market featuring made order pierogi, polish sausage, potato pancakes, cabbage soup and more including authentic baked goods and treats. Savor the food while you enjoy Piwo and authentic polish beer specially brewed by the Farmington Brewery. With live music by the Kielbasa Kings and costumed dancers it doesn't get any better. This event is absolutely delightful. Come polka in downtown Farmington

10/21/2017 - Farmers Market Week #23

Fall fun spell fresh cider, a hot Petey's donut, a UP Pastie to take home. Pick out a color squash and find a recipe for roasting at home....how about a shallow pan lined with foil and 1/4 cup of water. Cut squash in half, season with brown sugar and bake at 375 for 40 mins or until tender. Scoop out, add maple syrup and chopped walnuts....too good

10/28/2017 - The Haunted Market

The grand finale of special events the annual haunted market is a trick or treat delight and the whole town gets in on the fun. Come to market to find a bouncy, pumpkin decorating, trick or treating at surrounding stores and scary market vendors. Come if you dare....

11/4/2017 - Sad to say it's our Last Day....

November 4th marks week #25 and the last day of the season but we really won't be sad. We celebrate as we do every glorious week in the great outdoor
